Studio Stump is an art direction studio, founded by Katharina Stump, a Paris-based art director & graphic designer. Her practice explores the intersection of youth culture in the field of fashion and branding through a distinctly female gaze, she is heavily influenced by electronic music, the crafts of ceramic and nature which is due to her upbringing in Berlin and later Sweden.
She holds a B.A. in Visual Communication and an M.A. in Visual Culture from Lund University, Sweden , she has been working as in-house Art director for Uniqlo U , Paper-Digital and Exhibition Magazine in Paris before starting her own creative studio working with clients like : Louis Vuitton, Uniqlo U, The Louvre Museum, Osoi, Axel Arigato, Diptyque, Séfr, Vogue and others.
Katharina is a Paris-based art and image director working across fashion and visual culture. Since 2022, she has collaborated with clients including Louis Vuitton, Uniqlo U x Lemaire, Diptyque, Givenchy, Séfr, H&M, Vogue [...].
Her work is shaped by a cross-cultural sensibility and grounded in a research-led approach, where references, context, and an awareness of contemporary taste inform a distinct visual language across projects.
